Who are we?
Our founder, James, has worked across the entertainment industry in film, TV, theatre, and radio for a number of years.
Deciding to take a break, he recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Masters degree in English Studies, focusing his research on homosexual coded language in early 20th century literary circles.
Combining his love for language and his work, James decided to set up CineLinguist as a way to share his passion and knowledge, and to provide a much needed service to the entertainment industry.
What makes you so special?
Experience:
James has worked across multiple departments within the entertainment industry, with knowledge of lighting, sound, editing, writing, and development. This gives him a practical understanding of the industry in which you work, meaning he is able to advise on a variety of production matters.
Resources:
As an alumnus of the University of Cambridge, James has access to a significant number of rare, exclusive, and otherwise hard to access resources that are unavailable to the general public and other language consultants.
